About Offcon Plumbing: A Referral Service for Homeowners
Get connected with a provider
A Neighbor-Style Referral Service
Offcon Plumbing helps homeowners in Chicago and the Chicago area find independent local providers for emergency plumbing, sewer line repair and drain cleaning. Think of it as a good neighbor who knows who to ask. It is a connection service. It is not a plumbing company.
Why This Exists
When water is on the floor, searching the web is the last thing you want to do. You scroll, you compare, and you wonder who is real. Offcon Plumbing cuts that part down. The goal is less searching and more talking to someone who can actually help, while the problem is still small.
It also helps to think ahead. Frost, summer storms and spring melt each bring their own plumbing trouble. Knowing what the season can do makes it easier to act early.
How Providers Are Matched
You tell us what is happening and where you are. Then you are connected with an independent provider who serves your area and handles that kind of job. Availability varies by provider and by the day, so no one can promise a time. Many providers can respond quickly, and you can ask about timing when you talk with one.
What Providers Are Expected to Do
Providers in the network are independent businesses. They are expected to:
- Hold any license or registration that local rules require for the work
- Explain the problem in plain words
- Give a written quote before the work starts
- Treat your home with care
- Answer your questions honestly
You are always welcome to compare. Asking a second provider is a smart move on a big job.
What Offcon Plumbing Does Not Do
Offcon Plumbing does not send its own workers. It does not fix pipes, clear drains or repair sewer lines. It does not set provider prices, and it cannot promise a result or an arrival time. It does not decide what your insurance pays. Some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your policy, and ask the provider to help document damage for a claim.
How the Service Is Paid For
Providers in the network may pay a referral fee when a homeowner is connected. You pay the provider you hire, based on the written quote you accept. Costs vary by job, so ask for the full price before saying yes.
Before the Thaw, Before the Storm
Not every request is a crisis. Some homeowners reach out in fall to ask about a sump pump, an old sewer line or a drain that keeps slowing down. That is a fine time to start. Small fixes tend to be calmer than big ones.
Get Connected
Breathe, then take the next step. Request a callback to check provider availability, and tell the provider what you see, what you hear and when it started.
